Gasket Replacement
If your filter seems to get air or lose pressure overtime then your filter gasket could be cracked or don’t have a tight seal. The best way to fix this is with a new gasket & Plenty of lube. Overtime D.E, Algae, & other debris will get trapped on & around the gasket so it won’t provide a proper airtight seal.

Dislodged Pool Laterals
If your getting sand returning to your pool 90% of the time its going to be a pool lateral that has dislodged & is allowing sand to travel through your filters center pipe & back to the pool. The only way to fix this is to open up your pool filter & replace laterals if necessary.

Cracked Center Pipe or Filter Element
If you have a cracked center pipe this is another way D.E or sand could be returning to your pool. you can Micky-mouse this but we recommend doing it the right way & replacing it as its not to expensive
